Dr. Sigfus Orri Bollason MD graduated in medicine from the University of Iceland in 1995.  He then moved to Norway and got his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oslo University Hospital. Worked there as a consultant for several years and later 15 years at the HMR Regional Hospital in Aalesund. Working for many years as an OB/GYN specialist in Norwegian Hospitals he is an experienced consultant, having both duties from the labour ward and the gynecological department.  However, his main interests and field of work were in operative gynecology. Especially endoscopic treatment of general gynecological conditions. 
Now he has a private practice here at the Clinic in Reykjavik, working with general office gynecology as well as endoscopic surgery. 
He also has private practice in gynecology at the Medi3 Clinic in Aalesund.
